Methodology

Model version score-v1+norms-2026.10. Every stored score carries the version that produced it, so a change in method never silently rewrites your history.

From a measurement to 0–100

Where a published population distribution exists, a measure scores as its percentile in your group (sex and five-year age band; “prefer not to say” uses everyone). Lower-is-better measures such as resting heart rate are flipped. Where only a guideline exists (sleep, exercise, BMI, savings), the score follows a guideline curve: 0 far from the guideline, 100 at it. Guideline scores are never shown as percentiles. Most published sources report a mean or median and a spread, not a full table, so the shape of the distribution is our assumption; those rows are marked approximate below.

Learning28 daysLearning minutes a week 40%, Learning streak 20%, Reading minutes a week 25%, Courses finished (90 days) 15%
Glow7 daysVibeMaxx glow score 50%, Sleep per night 15% (shared), Hydration days (of 7) 10%, Self-care days (of 7) 15%, Exercise minutes a week 10% (shared)

Confidence is the share of a part’s weight that has data. Below 40% the part shows “not enough data yet”. The Calibrate Score is the confidence-weighted average of the parts with enough data, shown once at least two qualify, with a ± band that narrows as more parts fill in. “Shared” measures count in two parts at reduced weight on purpose.

Comparisons with other members

Not shown yet. A member group (for example women 30–34) becomes comparable only after at least 100 real members are in it. Even then, the label says “vs CalibrateYou members like you” and never mixes with the published comparison, because members tend to be healthier than the general population.

Glow is about care, not looks

Glow measures how well you look after yourself: sleep, water, self-care days and exercise, plus your own VibeMaxx score if you link it. It is compared only with your own past, never with other people. If a BMI under 17.5 appears, we stop scoring weight and show support resources instead.
